The 203-3
and 203-4 Series electronic Transducers are used to convert duct air
velocity or static pressure into a DC voltage or milliamp signal, depending on
wiring terminal selection. These
signals are proportional to 0 – 400 FPM air velocity. A 24V AC or 20V DC (regulated) power input may be selected. The
unique "flow through" sensor provides full dynamic range over the
entire flow or pressure range.
The pressure independent controller compares the flow signal with
the electronic thermostat signal and meters the appropriate volume of air to
the space, regardless of terminal (damper inlet) pressure. This control function is referred to as
"Pressure Independent VAV Control."
