203-3 and 203-4 Series
Electronic Transducers

The 203-3 and 203-4 Series electronic Transducers are used to convert duct air velocity or static pressure into a DC voltage or milliamp signal, depending on wiring terminal selection.  These signals are proportional to 0 – 400 FPM air velocity.  A 24V AC or 20V DC (regulated) power input may be selected. The unique "flow through" sensor provides full dynamic range over the entire flow or pressure range.

The pressure independent controller compares the flow signal with the electronic thermostat signal and meters the appropriate volume of air to the space, regardless of terminal (damper inlet) pressure.  This control function is referred to as "Pressure Independent VAV Control."

Flow Control Logic

•  Damper override "open or closed" is featured
on all 200-3 Series flow controls.

•  Field adjustable min. and max. flow limits on
     the flow controller or thermostat.

•  Plug-in interface connector.

Flow Sensor

•  Integral part of 200-3 Series flow control assembly.

•  Responds to airflow from 0 to 4000 ft./min.

•  Averages flow from velocity pressure pickup.

Damper Actuator

  Directly coupled to damper shaft.

•  Selectable 45, 60 or 90 degree stroke either clockwise (CW) or counterclockwise (CCW).

•  24 Volt AC motor.

243-3 Series
Velocity Transducer / Actuator Assembly

The 243 Series Transducer/Actuator assembly combines the 203 Series Transducer and the 241-2 Series Actuator.  This assembly is used to develop a flow signal as an output to an energy management system and to regulate a terminal unit damper.

Features

•  Terminal blocks provided for low voltage wiring

•  One piece, pre-wired and assembled
